Services

What is the difference between private and shared transport?

Private transport is a dedicated trip for your pet (or pets from one household) with no other animals and a direct route. Shared transport means your pet travels with other pets on a planned route, which usually costs less but has more flexible timing.

What is a flight nanny?

A flight nanny is a person who flies with your pet in the airplane cabin on a commercial flight and hands them off at the destination. It is mainly an option for small pets that meet airline in-cabin size limits.

Can my pet use the flight nanny service?

Only pets that meet in-cabin airline size requirements are eligible — usually under 20 lbs including the carrier. A health certificate and an airline-approved soft-sided carrier are required. Domestic and select international flights are available.

What happens during a road trip?

We stop for bathroom breaks every 3–4 hours and send photo updates of your pet. Puppies never touch the ground at stops, and mobile housing is cleaned regularly. Every pet gets a new, sanitized riding-buddy toy. Food is given as you instruct, water is available at all times, and any medication is given as instructed.

How long does a long-distance trip take?

Most deliveries happen between 24 and 72 hours after pickup, depending on the location.

What do I need to provide?

We carry small, medium, and large crates, plus collars, leashes, food, and water. We recommend sending your pet’s regular food so their stomach doesn’t get upset by something new, along with any medications and instructions.

Can I reach you during the trip?

Yes — we are always available by phone. For safety, text messages are read and answered at bathroom and gas breaks rather than while driving.

Will my pet be in a crate?

On Group Rides, every pet travels in an individual crate for safety and comfort. Private Solo Rides have no other animals in the vehicle.

Do you only serve Dallas–Fort Worth?

We are based in Dallas–Fort Worth and offer both local DFW trips and longer-distance transportation — our customer reviews include trips across much of the continental U.S. Send us your route and we’ll let you know if we can help.

What kinds of animals do you transport?

Dogs and cats are our most common passengers, and we have also transported ferrets, rabbits, and miniature animals. If you have another type of animal, ask us — every request is reviewed case by case.

Pricing & booking

How much does pet transport cost?

Every trip is quoted individually based on distance, service type, number and size of pets, and timing. Use the Request a Quote form and we’ll reply with a custom quote.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially for long-distance trips and busy travel seasons.

Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?

Payment terms — including any deposit, when the balance is due, and cancellation or rescheduling terms — are explained with your quote, before anything is booked.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment options are confirmed when you book.

Preparing your pet

What documents does my pet need?

Requirements depend on the trip. Flights typically require documents set by the airline, and some destinations have their own rules. We’ll tell you what is needed when we confirm your trip.

What should I pack for my pet?

Commonly helpful items include your pet’s regular food, any medications with written instructions, a familiar blanket or toy, and a leash and collar with ID tags. See our Pet Travel Blog for a full checklist.

Can I get updates during the trip?

Yes. Private Solo Rides include regular updates, photos, and GPS tracking. Group Rides include communication and updates throughout the trip, and flight nanny trips include real-time updates, photos, and travel milestones.
